REVIEWS
“Though Cowling’s character is only featured in “Angel of Music”, a duet with Christine, her sense of pitch and intonation is flawless, her verses are delivered with sweet delight and vocal tenacity, and she holds her own as a cameo character, particularly in scenes with her stalwart mother, Madame Giry” - Amanda N. Gunther, Theatre Bloom
‘Cassie, the closest thing A Chorus Line has to a leading lady, is performed to perfection by Morgan Cowling, acted with great depth and showing outstanding triple threat skills while winning the audience’s support.’ - Kimberly Shaw, Stage Whispers
‘As the director’s old flame Cassie is Morgan Cowling. Whilst the talented cast have to pretend to be untalented at points, Cowling’s task is next level, having to shine in a dance sequence without shining too bright. I can’t describe how she does it and yet she does it to perfection, bringing incredible layers of emotion as she grapples with being unable to see herself as she was whilst her old flame the director sees her as she used to be. The chemistry between the director and Cassie envelopes the audience in an inescapable web in which you can’t help but feel every triumph and heartbreak.’
- David Bravos, Broadway World
‘The appealing cast features stand out performances by Morgan Cowling, as the sassy and smart Rizzo…’ - KDHX
“The songs are brilliant. with highlights including Morgan’s “The Girl in 14G” and “Broadway Baby” - Kimberly Shaw, Stage Whispers
“Morgan Cowling plays her mother, Kitty, among other roles, and is another standout. Her cheeky song in Act 2 is a clear highlight, but she carries a tremendous authenticity throughout the entire performance that was difficult to tear your eyes away from.” Tatum Stafford, Theatre Travels
